The Maray Gutierrez Project is a new collaboration that explores the “Chifa,” or Asian influence in the Latino Diaspora. accented by costumes designed by couture designer Brian Reyes and moves choreographed by native Cuban Pedro Ruiz, the performance mixes the rhythms of the Congo, Rumba, Mambo and Cha Cha.
